Hello there and thanks for stopping by! My name is Hailey, and I am the founder of RN New Grads! RN New Grads was developed in 2019 when I was a freshly graduated nursing student. I struggled to find a centralized resource that provided information on hospitals that accepted RN new grads or had RN New Grad Programs. After countless hours of research, I composed a word document of all the RN New Grad Programs in Southern California. I thought, “If I am having this problem, others must be too.” So, I decided to create RN New Grads to help the job search easier for others. Since our inception, RN New Grads has grown into a comprehensive platform for all things nursing. We now offer educational resources, interview help, and even sell cute nursing apparel and accessories to showcase your pride as a nurse.
RN New Grads is committed to helping new graduate nurses and nursing students succeed and create a safe place for all nurses.
We understand the challenges that come with starting a new career in nursing, and we’re here to provide guidance and resources to make the transition more seamless. We’re excited to continue growing and evolving as a community. Thank you for joining us on this journey!
Now, a little bit more about me just in case you were wondering who you are talking to behind “RN New Grads”. Although I grew up in a family of nurses as my mom was a nurse, I never thought I would end up in nursing. My real passion was gymnastics where I was a gymnast for 18 years and competed as a D1 gymnast, so naturally, that’s ultimately what I thought I would end up being involved in. After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media hoping to film college sports and a few other mishaps along the way, I decided to go to nursing school. I graduated with my ADN in June of 2019 and started my first job on a med-surg/tele unit in January of 2020 while finishing up my BSN in which I attained in June of 2020. Even though my first job was on a med-surg/tele unit, I knew I would love and thrive in the Emergency Department.
So after gaining enough courage to make a change, I received a job offer and started in the Emergency Department in January of 2022. When I am not working in the hospital or working on RN New Grads, I love traveling, camping, working out, & spending time with my husband, Matt. I also am completely obsessed with my dog Brodie which you probably already know if you follow me on social media. I am a very open and honest person and there is nothing I am not willing to talk about, so if you ever need anything, just shoot me a message and I will get back to you as soon as I can!
